Capcom has finally given fans “something special” to wait for in Street Fighter 5, according to a tweet by Capcom Fighters (see below). The message also included a link directing to their official Twitch channel, Team Sp00ky, providing all the info.
According to The Bitbag, Capcom will be revealing a first look at a new Street Fighter 5 DLC character. The tournament will take place at Mega Center in Chicago, Illinois, on May 27 to 29. Fans will be able to enjoy the event in person or live via Twitch.
Street Fighter 5 to release Balrog the Boxer this May
The tournament schedule list has various events lined up. But Street Fighter 5 seems to be one of the most anticipated announcements; however, the exact date hasn’t been revealed to us yet. A recent tweet made by Capcom Fighters says, “Capcom Pro Talk is tonight at 7PM with special guest @JWonggg!” linking to the Twitch channel. We could probably expect an announcement during the talk.
Fans commenting on the Street Fighter 5 Reddit page are expressing their frustration over Capcom’s decision. They expected the publishers to release the DLC without delay. One redditor said, “Capcom needs to fire their whole marketing team.”

Street Fighter 5 is a fighting game developed with Unreal Engine 4. It will be available to play on PC and the PlayStation 4.
