The fourth and last DLC installment for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” is expected to come oout on September 6. But more important to gamers is what new features “Salvation DLC” will have to offer.
It is likely that the upcoming “Salvation DLC” will offer something similar that past add-ons gave. This would include possibly four new multiplayer maps — Citadel, Micro, Outlaw and Rupture — perfect ones to cap an epic journey through space and time.
The said DLC is expected to cap a storied journey where in the protagonists will have to face a zombie horde for perhaps the last time. At stake is the heroes’ immortal souls, which should be a new and final challenge to the players patronizing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.”
Weighing in on the maps
With four maps to look forward to, it may be best for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” players to be prepared. Here are some short potshots on the upcoming multiplayer maps.
Citadel is a mid-sized map that was once home to a powerful medieval army. With the castle now abandoned, players will have to maneuver through tight corners as they try to fend off the undead.
Micro is a miniature war zone that will need proper logistics for players to survive. Given the small space, this is one map that may need more planning than offensives.
Outlaw is a western-style medium-sized map that practically needs no elaboration. Being a bit bigger, players should get more breathing room for their combat tactics.
Rupture is the last of the four maps, something that will take place in a high-tech facility. With a modern and advanced setting, this should be a futuristic battleground against those erring zombies.
The “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” Salvation DLC will first come out for the PS game consoles with the Xbox and PC versions following in October.
