While Warner Bros. has already confirmed their appearances in San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel is yet to announce Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and other movies part of their schedule this year.
The most anticipated event seems to be the confirmation of Captain Marvel’s director and main cast. Brie Larson has been in the limelight for a while now, since she is speculated to have been chosen to play as Captain Marvel.
Till now, we haven’t come across any convincing information confirming Brie Larson’s appearance at SDCC. Fortunately, Collider stepped in to give the audience a big tease.
According to a recent tweet, Steven Weintraub confirmed that Brie Larson and her co-stars from “Kong: Skull Island” will be present at SDCC. The tweet was posted after the last Warner Bros “The LEGO Batman Movie” confirmation for the panel. You can check out the tweet below.
Speculation has risen to the peak, suggesting Brie Larson will also be part of Marvel’s panel. If Steven Weintraub isn’t messing with us, it looks like Larson has already been confirmed for the role. But it’s advisable not to get ahead of ourselves.
In other Marvel news, there are new set images of Spider-Man Homecoming. The stills revealed Tom Holland with and without his costume and also confirmed a new cast. The Marvel panel would take place starting July 22.
Fans are expecting behind-the-scenes footage of Thor: Ragnarok along with Spider-Man Homecoming. If lucky, the attendees will get to see a new trailer from Doctor Strange.
Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts for “Kong: Skull Island.”
