Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce rumors are circulating once again because of their constant fighting over money woes. It was reported that the “Maleficent” star has rejected a number of project to pursue her role as a UN Ambassador.
According to a report from Radar Online, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may likely pursue the impending divorce that has been haunting their marriage for years now as the actress reportedly priorities her charity works rather than earning more for their family.
“She was refusing to sign up for the lucrative lead role in the Maleficent sequel even though it will bring in cash they desperately need,” an insider told the entertainment site. “She really wanted to avoid doing it so she can focus on her documentaries and charity work.”
The 41-year-old actress has earlier said that she no longer have to do a Maleficent sequel as the they had already did a great job in the first movie.
“I enjoyed it. I just feel like we did this one thoroughly and I don’t think there’d be another,” she said in an interview. “I feel like this is the one, if I was going to ever do a Disney one, this is the one I wanted to do. And I think we’ve done it well.”
This rejection meanwhile took a toll on their relationship as Brad Pitt felt upset for the actress’ decision.
“That’s upset Brad, who’s pointing out the family isn’t in a position to reject a $30 million-plus paycheck,” the source dished out.
Reports revealed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, along with their six children, have been spending a large amount of cash for their travels which also includes their nannies and body guards. This resulted to rumors that the power couple are nearing bankruptcy as they also sold one of their mansion.
Early this year, Angelina Jolie spend one month in Cambodia to film her movie “First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers.”
Last year, Angelina Jolie also directed the movie “By The Sea” with husband Brad Pitt.
