Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not pushing for their divorce but are instead eyeing to adopt another child for their growing family.
The A-list couple, who was rumored to be on the brink of separating after almost a decade of being together, are reportedly adopting their seventh child to save their marriage.
A report from In Touch Weekly told that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt their want to have another child is their way to celebrate from calling off their divorce.
“They’re celebrating saving their marriage with the best present possible: a seventh child,” an insider told the entertainment website. “Now that the divorce is off and they’re back on track, they feel adopting another child will strengthen their relationship even more.”
The source added, “Brad and Angelina are putting the wheels in motion to adopt an older child from South Africa, Burundi or Ethiopia, where Zahara was born.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also wanted to adopt an older child as they believe they are the orphans who are often overlooked by prospective adopting parents.
The By The Sea actress reportedly said that parents usually wanted to adopt babies but she believes that there are older children who can also be worthy and deserving of their love.
“They feel that by adopting a child who is 10 or older, he or she will mix in better with their rambunctious kids, who are getting bigger by the day,” the source added.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are parents to their six kids namely Maddox, 14,Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
Despite years of facing divorce rumors, the couple remained intact throughout the years and was even strengthened by the marriage. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married on August 2014.
