Alicia Etheredge, Bobby Brown’s wife, delivered her second baby, a girl, on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, in Los Angeles, the New Edition singer’s representative confirmed.
Etheredge was rushed to the hospital on Friday and was induced on Saturday, TMZ said. The baby is Bobby’s overall sixth child and has been a source of delight especially to Brown, whose eldest daughter, Bobbi Kristina, with ex-wife Whitney Houston, remains at the care of a hospice since mid-June.
After the death of Houston, the younger Brown had been “inconsolable” and almost three years into Houston’s death anniversary, Brown was reported to have been found by her husband Nick Gordon, in an almost similar circumstance with Houston prior to the latter’s death — facedown and unconscious in a bathtub.
Kristina Brown was initially rushed to North Fulton Hospital on Jan 31. She is in a medically induced coma.
Bobby Brown has been struggling with his life despite his happy marriage with Etheredge in 2012. The two have a five-year-old son, Cassius. It has been public knowledge that singer Brown had a hard time during his July 4 performance in Atlanta as he forgot some lines in lyrics. He explained to his fans “he was in a different timezone.”
