When Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, came back for an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw, bombs have been dropped.
“It’s unfortunate, but at the time, that’s kind of the only way we knew how to deal with what had happened,” the now 25-year-old man reportedly claimed in the teaser of the two-part interview airing on Thursday and Friday.
Apart from this disclosure, it was reported that the discussion with the psychologist-turned-TV personality also covered the night Bobbi Kristina Brown learned about the tragic death of her mother, the singer behind the immortal song “I Will Always Love You.”
The then 22-year-old singer’s last moments prior her coma and the $10 million civil suit filed against Nick Gordon were likewise part of the entire interview.
Meanwhile, when it comes to his rehab following his reported alcohol and Xanax abuse, he had this to say: “I was drinking so much at the time because I could not deal with what was happening to Krissy.”
“It mentally broke me,” he said about losing Bobby Kristina Brown. “That’s the lowest point in my life right there.”
With what happened to her fiancée, Nick Gordon appeared to be full of regrets, reported the Daily Mail Online.
“I can’t blame myself for another addict’s addiction but I feel like I failed her,” he reportedly dished about their alleged addiction. “She didn’t make it. I wish she got help.”
“I wish she got my spot [in rehab],” the fiancé of Bobby Brown’s daughter said. “I did not protect her the way that I was supposed to – even if it was from herself.”
Now that he is out of the rehab facility, Nick Gordon stated that “I’m starting to feel like a new man and I feel like it’s about time for things to be cleared up.“
