Celebrity couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly racing to the altar because they do not want Miranda Lambert and Anderson East to wed ahead of them.
If the 40-year-old country music star and 46-year-old former No Doubt lead vocalist are indeed getting married, it means that they have decided to finally settle down only a year after they got together.
It can be recalled that “The Voice” coaches were rumored to have started their romance following the controversial separation of Blake Shelton from Miranda Lambert, and Gwen Stefani from Gavin Rossdale.
Citing a report from “Life & Style” magazine, Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that based on an insider’s account, the “Bring Back the Sunshine” singer might propose to the “Don’t Speak” artist by December.
“Gwen’s happily telling friends that Blake is going to propose at Christmastime,” an unnamed source close to the couple reportedly dished. “Naturally, she’ll say yes. They’ve been talking about getting married for months now. He’s planned to do it on a skiing trip either in Mammoth Lakes [California] or Aspen [Colorado].”
Should it be true that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are rushing their wedding plans, the entertainment pointed out that this will never do good to them except for proving how insecure the latter really is “behind closed doors.”
The digital publication further stated that if the Nashville native is truly in love with her, she should not be worried of anything.
Meanwhile, someone close to the mother-of-three caught up with People who then shared how her relationship with the ex-husband of Miranda Lambert saved her.
“Before dating Blake, Gwen seemed lost,” the insider reportedly disclosed. “She had the roughest time with her divorce and was trying to be positive about her future, but she found life very difficult.”
The source continued saying, “They almost rescued each other.”
