Blackberry Priv Beta Update Available: Know More Details Here

Another good news for Blackberry Priv Smartphone users. Blackberry has decided to roll out a new Beta update for the users of this Android powered phone. It seems that everyone except the users on Verizon is getting the update this time.

Priv was first shown at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Priv stands for Privacy and Privilege and features a slide out portrait keyboard and runs on Android OS.

According to GSM Arena,  this update carries a firmware version of AAG873 for all AT&T Priv users. All other units including the factory unlocked pieces will get the update as AAG853.

The size of the update is estimated to be around 157MB and likely to include the Android security patches and other fixes as well. According to Crackberry, this update will contain the upcoming Security fixes from Google.

Unfortunately the changelogs are not released yet by the company and they will not be confirmed until there is an official release from the company. The versions are simple this time. Also there is no mentioning of a DTEK50 beta update until now but that may also come shortly.

Blackberry is the company which always brings something fresh and different and it makes people fully productive when they use its phones which are designed to bring all smart features at one place. Blackberry believes on the fundamental of getting things done and there have been a number of users who have enjoyed this experience in Blackberry phones.

Blackberry’s Priv stands out in the world of Android slabs and focuses on security and privacy for which Blackberry has been famous for. With this new update to the firmware some good features are expected along with those mentioned here.
