‘Bioshock: The Collection’ And ‘Rive’ PC, Xbox, PS4: 2 Big Games Releasing This Week

Two amazing, yet very different, video games are arriving this week – “Bioshock: The Collection” and “Rive”.

If you have liked “Bioshock” in the past, you are bound to love “Bioshock: The Collection”, the ultimate revival of the Bioshock games, only this time its PC, Xbox and PS4 compatible.

‘Bioshock: The Collection’ PC

Unfortunately, though, gamers who wish to play the game on PC, have to wait an additional couple of days to play the game, reports Polygon. Though the game comes out on Xbox One and PS4 on 13th September, one has to wait till 15th September to play it on PC.

However, since “Bioshock” 1 and 2 upgrades were available all summer for sale as well as the “Minerva’s Den”, people who have already taken advantage of the opportunity and upgraded their version of the games, will not miss out on much when the remastered set launches for Xbox and PS4.

However, when it comes to “Bioshock Infinity” however, there is no way out but to wait for the actual PC release date.

“Rive”, though not as popular as the “Bioshock” franchise is anticipated to garner quite a following soon enough. It is 2D sci-fi game that lets the player maneuver a spacecraft called “Roughshot”, and use technique and strategy to hack enemy robots and learn new moves and attack skills as the game progresses through different modes, reports Heavy.

The game is more like a movie than anything else where the protagonist wakes up to find himself stranded in an unknown location and has to find out a way to survive as space monsters attack from all sides, reports City Weekly.

It releases on Xbox One, PS4, Wii U and PC, on the same day as “Bioshock: The Collection”. Would gamers prefer to go for the latter instead due to its sheer brand name? Only time will tell.
