Newly-engaged couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell just signed up for their own spinoff. However, rumors have it that the couple is heading off to splitsville due to Jojo Fletcher’s statements. Will the spinoff reveal the details of their break-up?
“The Bachelor” stars Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, whose engagement was set before the public’s eyes, are set to do their own spinoff, which will reveal the details of their upcoming weddin — if it pushes through, that is.
Entitled as “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After,” fans will follow the couple’s road to wedding and as they adjust to their married life “while navigating the real world after the splendor of ‘The Bachelor’s’ exotic dates and fantasy suites has ended.”
Ben Higgins and Laura Bushnell became a couple in ABC’s The Bachelor season 20.
Despite settling down, Ben Higgins acknowledges the fact that their lives will still be subject to scrutiny.
“After you walk away from The Bachelor, it’s not like your life becomes private,” Ben Higgins told Us Weekly in an interview. “People still find out what you’re doing, so it’s not changing our life to be public.”
Meanwhile, Lauren Bushnell is also open to sharing to their fans what happens after they wed, noting that their romance have been a whirlwind.
“We’re already used to sharing our lives with everyone else so we thought, ‘Why not?” the 26-year-old said.
However, there were rumors that Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell wedding might be called off, following reports that Ben Higgins wanted to get back with Jojo Fletcher.
It can be recalled that Jojo Fletcher revealed that her failed relationship with Ben Higgins is the “truest form of love” she had ever experienced.
Jojo Fletcher also revealed that she was heartbroken when Ben Higgins did not propose to her, The Daily Mail said in a report.
The two is the sixth couple in the history of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” as revealed by ABC in February.
Ben Higgins and Laura Bushnell spinoff will premiere in October on Disney’s Freeform network.
