Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were seen together in Atlanta for a weekend bonding time with kids, an entertainment website reports. Despite having announced their divorce, the estranged couple remains civil and according to reports, they talk everyday.
“They are still getting through and doing their own stuff and taking care of the kids, but it’s not easy on them,” a person close to the family told People magazine. Since the divorce, Garner has been taking care of their three children at their residence in Atlanta.
On Saturday, the family had lunch together and later watched a movie at a local theater, according to the news. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner began dating after “Daredevil.” They tied the knot on June 29, 2005. They are blessed with two girls—9-year-old Violet and six-year-old Seraphina—and a boy, three-year-old Samuel.
A decade later, the couple announced they are getting a divorce. Although no further information was revealed, reports circulated their marriage may have been severed by a third party—the family’s 28-year-old nanny Christine Ouzounian. Affleck denied the allegation but friends of Garner said the “nanny issue” was the “final straw” as quoted by People.
“She’s grieving, but she has an amazing support system. She just had no idea what was going on,” says the news.
