Henry Cavill, the British actor who portrays Superman in the upcoming superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, decided to get to the bottom of the grudge match against Ben Affleck’s Batman with the help of some kids. A video shows Henry Cavill asking a group of young Super-fans which superhero is more powerful.
Henry Cavill says in response to a little girl who says Batman has the ability to fly, “I think you’ve got Batman confused with Superman, haven’t you?”
“Batman can’t go up, he can only go down, Superman can do both.” But Henry Cavill appears fair and friendly in the face of Batman getting a lot of votes.
The superhero grudge started when Batman escapes police custody in the last book of the “Batman: Dark Knight” series; his actions are not hidden from Superman, who determines that he must be brought in to take care of Batman.
However, the debate among Cavill and the kids were all about raising awareness for Omaze’s charity contest, in which the winner will have the opportunity to attend the Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice premiere to meet Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Jesse Eisenberg, among other fantastic experiences.
The charitable donation will start as low as $10, and that person can contribute in order to enter the competition. And according to the Hollywood Reporter, there are three great causes that will benefit from the donations: the Eastern Congo Initiative, an American nonprofit organization established by Ben Affleck, the SEED Project, a project helping young African kids, and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, a British-based wildlife organization.
Individuals donating to the campaign will not only be entered into the draw to attend the red carpet premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice in New York on March 20, but they will also receive other bonuses based on the amount of donation.
