Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell can step into Hollywood if she desires. Although the beauty pageant titleholder hasn’t revealed details yet, it’s possible for her to bag a role in the upcoming Batman movie.
Recently, users on Twitter started to fan cast Betty Cantrell as Catwoman in the untitled Batman movie. The expected casting is connected to the 1955 Miss America pageant.
Lee Meriwether is a former model who won the title of Miss America in 1955. The model later went on to begin her career in Hollywood as well.
Meriwether is known for her role as Catwoman in 1966’s Batman and 2003’s Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt. The actress was much appreciated for her villainous role in the classic movie.
Recently, Anne Hathway also revealed her interest to reprise her Catwoman role in the reboot. However, it looks like DCEU might be completely rebooting the cast for the untitled Batman film as well.
A recent tweet from Miss America 2013 Mallory Hytes Hagan also hinted Betty Cantrell in the role. The beauty queen tagged Miss America 2016 in a tweet: “Holy wind, batman!” Check out her tweet below.

Recently, it was teased that Catwoman, Huntress, and other fictional female superheros from Arkham have been selected for Affleck’s untitled Batman movie. However, Deathstroke is the only fictional character confirmed so far.
It has also been claimed by users on Reddit and 4Chan that the Batman movie will be released in October 2018. However, the studio still hasn’t officially announced any dates yet.
