Subscribers and would-be subscribers of AT&T’s Mobile Shape Value Plan are up for a big surprise. The wireless network has just announced its ‘best ever prices’ covering the plan for families, friends, and other groups. There would literally be buckets of free data that are data-shared among specified number or groups of individuals.
This could be another offering that AT&T is rolling out in an effort to keep up with the intensifying competition within the industry. It should be noted that in the last few weeks, major and even minor mobile network providers have been aggressively rolling out huge discounts and easier or faster device upgrades.
Now, the latest practical scheme is strategically positioned to cover specific market segments today. So how does this go for savings to actually work? For each Mobile Share Value plan to be purchased, the subscriber would be entitled to a 10GB of data.
If there are two smartphones that would be included in the plan, the subscriber would shoulder $130. Every additional device to be added to the plan would incur an additional cost of just $14. Thus, if your Mobile Share Value plan has three family users, the monthly savings cost would be $145, for four would be $160, and for five would be $175 and so on.
What’s more? Aside from the free amount of data provided, the subscribers and the value plan members would enjoy other features. Those added features include unlimited minutes of usage for chatting. There is also unlimited text messaging.
Transfer from other networks
If you would transfer to AT&T from a rival carrier, you could take several options to save on costs. First, you may pay in case the brand new phone provided is not subsidized by the company. Second, users could bring about compatible devices to use on the network. Third, one could sign up for the company’s early-upgrade plan called Next, which could still be covered by the Mobile Share Value plan.
If you are considering the third option described here, be reminded that surcharges would be applied. Thus, the monthly bill would include payments for the mobile device in installment terms (optional). The price tag would depend on the type of smartphone that the subscriber has selected.
AT&T customers who prefer to switch to Mobile Share Value plan could easily do so. They would not have to sign up for early upgrade program Next. It is also possible to bring in your old device for trade in or user settings configuration.
