“Arrow” is stepping up their game and is looking to awe the audience from the very first episode of Season 5! The Green Arrow is all set to trade his short for more violence!
“Arrow” Season 4 Finale wasn’t supposed to garner the kind of response that it wanted due to a number of reasons.
While some opined that the plot of the previous season was weak and ridiculous at times, others agreed that the finale did not nearly have enough action-packed sequences.
Hence the creators of the show have buckled up and are ready to rectify their previous mistakes in the upcoming season. Filming for season 5 will begin soon, as per Stephen Amell and his Live Q&A session on Facebook.
‘Arrow’ Season 5 Premiere
This does not necessarily mean that the Green Arrow is going to turn evil; he is just going get a lot more ruthless! Amell has also revealed that the Green Arrow costume is going to receive another makeover in the next season.
However, it’s not a change of costume that “Arrow” fans should be excited about, it’s the “costumelessness”! That’s right folks, the Green Arrow is going shirtless again!
‘Arrow’ Season 5 News
According to Zap2It, Amell is currently focused on getting his body back into shape again, since he will soon be required to film a shirtless stunt on Arrow season 5 premiere.
“Episode 501 of ‘Arrow’ has an opportunity for us to quite literally have the most vicious, violent oner shot, which is where there is no cut, in the history of network television,” Amell stated.
Long time fans of the show would know that Amell prefers to do all of his stunts himself, without taking help from a body double. This time is going to be no different. “I insisted that it’s going to be me, no stunt double. And he (stunt coordinator James Bamford) says, ‘Fine, then you gotta do it shirtless’,” quipped Amell.
“Arrow” season 5 returns on 5th October 2016 only on CW.
