If we are to believe the latest beta of OS X El Capitan, Apple may in the near future launch a 21.5-inch iMac with 4K retina display.
Coding images suggest that not just one, but two projects are in the pipeline:
1. 5K iMac
2. 5-inch iMac with 4K Retina Display
Though nothing is official yet, and the launch of these two projects is for now just a rumor. While Apple fans and techno-freaks are already going crazy and cannot wait to welcome these new products, let us have a look at some of the features of 21.5-inch iMac.
With a resolution of 4,096 × 2,304, this new iMac will allow users to watch 4K video without forcing them to scale down. That means users can enjoy high-resolution videos without any compromise on the quality.
This new product from Apple is also rumored to be coming with Intel’s Skylake processors.
As soon as the news of a new product hitting the market starts making rounds, speculations about its pricing begin. Similarly, experts have started assuming that due to the retina display, this new Apple product would be priced high and may be sold somewhere around $1,299.
Here is what the coding looks like, as per Consomac:
