In the middle of the Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt divorce drama, their children are probably the most affected.
Has anyone of them ever sided with one of their parents?
While the couple has been silent about the whole thing, from the time the rumors erupted until the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from his 52-year-old husband on Sept. 20, speculations about the real reason behind it have continued to surface. One of them is the claim that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is bent on taking the side of Brad Pitt, rather than staying with Angelina Jolie.
A new report from Hollywood Life suggested that the 10-year-old daughter of the Hollywood couple has been having a hard time accepting her family’s present reality.
“Shiloh is taking [the divorce] the hardest,” an unnamed source dished. “She’s a daddy’s girl and she’s apparently upset with her mom for keeping them apart.”
“Angelina is trying to explain that it’s for the best, but the kids don’t see it that way,” the source added about the present situation of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
This scenario might already end soon as the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars have already reached a temporary divorce settlement, according to TMZ.
The decision of the LA County Department of Children and Family Services, which primarily provides the temporary custody deal, has four major agreements that are deemed necessary to “heal” the entire family.
First, the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” actress will have physical custody of their six children until Oct. 20.
Second, the “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” actor can visit Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne but only when a therapist is around.
Third, the actor needs to undergo random drug and alcohol testing. This reportedly has something to do with the rumor that “Angelina believes Brad has issues with alcohol and weed.”
Fourth, both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will have individual counseling, and another together with their children.
