The Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce drama is set to get ugly. This is due to the fact that the 41-year-old actress has hired two high-profile lawyers to her legal team.
According to sources, Angelina Jolie has hired Pierce O’Donnell and Bert Fields in to her legal team led by Laura Wasser, TMZ reports. The duo will add firepower to her legal team as they are known for executing the sale of LA Clippers for Shelly Sterling.
It appears that the legal battle between the former couple is likely to get ugly for the custody battle of their six children.
Brad Pitt had earlier hired Lance Spiegel to his legal team to ensure he get custody of the kids. In spite of roping in 70-year-old Spiegel, the actor continues to be advised by his Hollywood lawyer Alan Hergott and by manager Cynthia Pett, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Angelina has not asked spousal or child support from her estranged husband. Both Jolie and Pitt are leaving no stone unturned as they get ready for the major divorce battle. In between, it was said that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would come to some understanding over the custody of their kids.
Pitt volunteered to do drug and alcohol testing, though “it was not required,” a source told Radar Online. The couple have six kids: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Siloh, 10, twins Vivenne and Knox, 8.
Meanwhile, Jolie reportedly went to an estate in Hidden Hills, California on Thursday, ET Online reports. Previously, she was settled with her children in her Malibu hideaway.
