The “American Idol” finale is expected to bring a remarkable excitement as big surprises await its fans.
Still remember the contestant who had one of the most unforgettable renditions of Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” during the show’s third season? How about the original co-host of the American singing competition?
William Hung and Brian Dunkleman, regarded as two of the most popular personalities who put the singing reality show on the map, are making a comeback on the current season’s finals night on Thursday, according to TMZ.
It was learned that the 33-year-old Hong Kong-born former competitor will be back to perform live, while the 44-year-old actor and comedian will help in opening the “American Idol” finale with a big bang.
Meanwhile, adding to the exciting night will be the winners of the past 15 seasons. It was even rumored that most of the top three performers of each of the previous seasons will be around to put up a great performance.
It was noted, though, that the first big winner, Kelly Clarkson, cannot make it live because she is about to give birth to her second child. However, she will still make her fans glad through her pre-taped performance.
Another highly-anticipated surprise during the “American Idol” finale is the reunion of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. In the meantime, ET Online shared that Paula Abdul actually quit eight times during her first day on the show.
“I quit eight times the first day,” the 53-year-old singer-songwriter recalled. “I was just shocked that Simon could really be as rude as he was.”
Tuesday’s episode of “American Idol” was the first part of the three-night finale.
