Lady Gaga is set to return as cast for the American Horror Story season 6.
Series creator Ryan Murphy has initially confirmed that he has already talked to Lady Gaga to come back for “American Horror Story” season 6 after he pitched his story to the singer-turned-actress.
In a cover story by The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Murphy said they are working to fit in the filming of “American Horror Story” season 6 in between Lady Gaga’s tour schedule.
Just this January, Lady Gaga clinched her first Golden Globes award as best actress in a limited-series for her role as The Countess in “American Horror Story: Hotel.”
“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley movie ‘Moonstruck,” Lady Gaga told as she accepted the award last January. “This is one of the greatest moments of my life.”
Meanwhile, “American Horror Story” season 6 cast Evan Peters was all praised to Lady Gaga on her first time acting for the hit series.
“Well, I mean to me, it was exciting because she is new to acting, but she is very good at it and was willing to get into it more than a lot of veteran actors, so it was very refreshing and cool to see her dive into I,” he said in an interview with Deadline. “It was all very instinctual, which was very cool to work with and sort of get you out of your head and sort of back into the instinct of acting. It was awesome to work with her. I learned a lot.”
FX Networks CEO John Landgraf previously dubbed the next season as a remarkable one as it will join the list of television’s landmark series, while recording as FX’s highest-rated show.
The CEO also added that Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s tandem for the sixth season is set to challenge “the entire creative team to come up with something even more spectacular, frightful and entertaining.”
“You could not ask more of an artist, their team or a series and with every new installment they deliver,” he told, as reported by Variety.
“American Horror Story” will return to this fall.
