Amber Heard reportedly retracted her support for spousal request from Johnny Depp. Does this serve as the strongest evidence of Depp’s alleged abuse?
Is this the biggest break in Johnny Depp Amber Heard domestic abuse case yet?
In a report by E! Online, Amber Heard’s lawyer has filed a declaration to withdraw the actress’ request for a temporary spousal support from her husband Johnny Depp.
It can be recalled that the 30-year-old actress filed for a request to receive $50,000 per month following her filing of divorce from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star.
However, the retracting of spousal fee request does not mean that Amber Heard will not push through with the divorce. Instead, she wanted to make it clear that she wanted divorce from Johnny Depp because of his domestic abuse and not because she was after his wealth.
The actress’ reason for retracting the spousal fee request was because it was being “used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.”
The documents from Amber Heard also stated, “In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby with drawing the request…for spousal support.”
Last May, the news broke that Amber Heard wanted divorce from Johnny Depp after 15 months of marriage due to his constant abuse.
According to “The Danish Girl” actress, the actor hit her with an iPhone while they were in their Los Angeles apartment. The actress even presented documents and photos as evidence of the actor’s physical abuse.
The actress has filed a temporary restraining order against her husband which was immediately granted by an LA court.
