In the middle of Black Friday craze, Amazon.com released an initial list of products that it would put up for sale on December 2, which is dubbed as Cyber Monday. It should be noted that most of the offers are different from the deals that are rolled out today.
By tradition, Cyber Monday immediately follows the Thanksgiving and Black Friday weekend. It is somehow an extension of the shopping season as various retailers, especially those focused at technology products, offer deals to entice consumers to make purchases.
Just to give a hint, Amazon aims to make its Cyber Monday offers ideal for getting back to business after the Thanksgiving holiday. The online retailer logically intends to entice its customers to shop online. The company said its Cyber Monday deals would be rolled out all day and in the entire week.
Amazon has announced that its Cyber Monday Deals Store would open on Sunday, December 1. New deals would be rolled out every 10 minutes. This means that online customers would have to constantly monitor what offers are being rolled out at the Website. It is also assumed that such deals would last as soon as those run out of supplies.
The Cyber Monday deals would continue the current Black Friday sales for Amazon shoppers. On Sunday, users could start signing up for daily and updated emails, which would come with the popular ‘Deal of the Day’ notification and many more information.
From that day on, until the entire duration of the promo, Facebook users could also obtain deal updates just by ‘liking’ Amazon. The same goes for Twitter users, which could follow @amazondeals. The deals could also be perused on the mobile app of the company.
As expected, Cyber Monday deals from Amazon would involve a number of popular brands and electronic products. The initial list released by the e-commerce company includes names like Samsung, Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Roku.
Aside from hefty discounts on price tags, Amazon is also giving away gift cards along with actual purchases of specific products. Each purchase of Sonos Playbar, for instance, would entitle the shopper to a $100 Amazon gift card and free Sonos Bridge.
Amazon is also offering up to 58% markdown on sales of more than 7,000 films and TV shows on Blu-ray and DVD. Among the popular titles are ‘Homeland: Season 2,’ ‘Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures,’ and ‘Rise of the Guardians.’
