Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 4 is something TV viewers are eagerly awaiting, especially after the events that had transpired in the season 3 finale.
To recap, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 3 saw the death of Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell) and Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) in space.
Aside from that, there was that fast-forwarded event, which saw Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Mack (Henry Simmons) was equally intriguing as both were monitoring the movement of Daisy/Skye (Chloe Bennet), who was on the run. A full recap can be viewed over at ABC for the ones who may have forgotten or missed the finale.
Life Model Decoys Coming?
Another interesting segment in the season finale of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD was that one involving Dr. Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah). He was talking with an AI, AIDA greeting her happy birthday.
Equally intriguing was the figure behind a white wall, which was eventually explained by “L.M.D. Phase 1 Upload Complete” that flashed on a computer screen. Cinema Blend points out that all this could be a sign that “Life Model Decoys” (LMD) will be around on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 4 and AIDA will be the one inside the female outline on the white wall.
ABC Casting for ‘AIDA’
Adding more meat to the arrival of LMDs next season is TV Line’s report of casting calls for an attractive robot. From the looks of it, the successful talent to get the role will be in the same mold as Tony Stark’s Jarvis.
Right now the only thing clear is that AIDA will be part of the face side. LMDs are nothing new seeing how most were used in the past. Nick Fury did so in the comics, a tactic he used to trick enemies and avoid dangers.
So does this mean that Radcliffe is on the good side? If so, will this be a benefit or future conflict that SHIELD will have to deal with? Agents of SHIELD returns on ABC this September 20 as TV fans finally get answers left off on season 3.
