Grammy-winning British singer Adele has teased her new song during the commercial break of “The X-Factor.” The singer, who did not release a single album after “Skyfall” in 2012, may soon present her fans with something new.
There is no mention about the album and its release date in the short footage. It was just the lyrics on the television and Adele’s voice playing in the background. Fans were waiting for her voice to be heard and their wish may be finally fulfilled.
The lines of the new song are, “Hello/ It’s me/ I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet/ To go over/ Everything,” she sang. “They say that time’s supposed to heal ya/ but I ain’t done much healing.”
It was just a regular commercial break that showed a black screen where the lyric was visible. Three dots were shown, meaning something will be continued.
Adele had a hit album in 2011 named “21” but she faded away after 2012. There were reports in August that she will be coming back with a new album “25.” The album “21” sold more than 11 million copies around the world.
It was mentioned in the report that the album will be released in November. With TV giving a glimpse of what to expect, we can now think that the reports are correct.
The new album in question is rumored to have been done in collaboration with Pharrell Williams, Max Martin and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. The truth will be revealed in the future soon.
