Aaron Carter is no longer supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump. Once a staunch supporter, Nick Carter’s younger brother said he has been bullied so much that not only is he not voting for Trump anymore, he is also considering not voting at all.
Page Six reports that last Sunday, a fan told Carter that he is still loved no matter if his choice for the next US President is Trump. Carter quickly replied and said “I honestly don’t think I will at this point. I’ve been bullied so badly because of it I don’t even want to vote now.”
It can be remembered that when he announced his support for the businessman turned politician back in February through Twitter, he received disses and backlash like there was no tomorrow. Many concluded that because he supports Trump, he must be “an immigrant-hating closet racist who hates the poor.” as Breitbart put it. He was also labeled as a “sexist,” “broke,” “irrelevant,” and “anti-LGBT.”
The abuse he received can take down a lesser man so it’s not surprising that he got seriously affected. Whether or not Carter is currently being sarcastic remains to be seen.
The hate on Trump right now however cannot be questioned. His unpopular statements against refugees and minorities rubbed many the wrong way. This is why even without even naming him, many were quick to know George Clooney was bashing Trump when he emailed Hillary Clinton.
Clooney’s statement “If you listen to the loudest voices out there today, you’d think we’re a country that hates Mexicans, hates Muslims, and thinks that committing war crimes is the best way to make America great again” left no doubts in one’s mind that he is bashing Trump.
