Real Time With Bill Maher has been a consistent nominee for the Emmy Awards Outstanding Variety Series since 2005 up to 2014. In the 68th Emmy Awards for 2016, it is nominated again.
As per IMDB, the talk show was nominated 72 times in different award giving bodies. It has won six awards. The show won two times in the Cable Ace Awards for Talk Show Series category (1995-1996). For the same Awards in 1995, he also won in the Entertainment Host category for “Politically Incorrect.”
In 2007, he won in the Outstanding Producer of Variety Television category for the PGA Awards, for the Star of the Walk of Fame in 2010, Maher also won for television. Outstanding Informational Series or Special Vice category in the Emmy Awards went to the host-comedian in 2014.
