2015 MTV Video Music Awards: Taylor Swift, Beyonce And Ed Sheeran Get The Most Nominations

Artists Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran received several nominations for MTV Video Music Awards, which will be aired on August 30 hosted by Miley Cyrus.

Nominations for 2015 MTV Video Music Awards have been released with Swift bagging the most number, including video of the year for “Bad Blood,” best collaboration, best pop video and best female video. Her nomination for best female video was for “Blank Space.”

Beyonce was nominated for video of the year for her “7/11,” best pop video and best female video, to mention a few. Her “7/11” also got a thumb up for best female video.

Sheeran’s nominations include best pop video for his “Thinking Out Loud” and best male video for the same track. Also nominated for video of the year were Kendrick Lamar for “Alright” and Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson for “Uptown Funk.” Both tracks were nominated for best male video, along with The Weekend’s “Earned it” and Nick Jonas’ “Chains.”

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has a nomination for best female video for her song “Anaconda,” along with Ellie Goulding for her “Love Me Like You Do” and Sia for her “Elastic Heart.”

In best hip-hop video category, the nominees were Big Sean and E-40 for “I Don’t F**k With You,” Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth for “See You Again,” Nicki Minaj for “Anaconda,” and Kendrick Lamar for “Alright.”
