ZOPO Speed 8; Launch Invites Sent Out
Zopo is another Chinese manufacturer established in 2008. Although it is not as well-known as Huawei or Xiaomi, it surely is slowly getting fans from different parts of the world. The reason for the brand’s climb is the interesting smartphones that they come up with. And it is exciting to know that another flagship phone, the Zopo Speed 8 from the said phone maker is about to come out during the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona.Advertisement
The Chinese tech company has already sent out the invites for the said launching event of the flagship device, reports Phones Review. The Zopo Speed 8 phone is confirmed to run Android 6.0 out of the box. It will also have the deca-core Helio X20 processor under the hood, which will be one of the first smarthones in the market to use it. It is said to have a RAM of 4GB and a fingerprint scanner. It will be having a 21 megapixel Sony IMX 230 rear shooter and an 8 megapixel front facing shooter.
It has recently been revealed that the final design of Zopo Speed 8 is described as an elegant and robust smartphone. It will have a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a fast charging 3600 mAh battery. It will also be supporting NFC and USB Type-C.
With the invites out, it is confirmed that Speed 8 will launch on Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 10:30 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon. There are, so far, no teaser images of the device itself.
Additionally, it was confirmed that that the latest phone model from the Chinese tech company will be introduced by one of its brand ambassadors. This is none other than MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, who will be coming just for that event.
The Chinese tech firm, for now, is keeping the other details of their latest phone under wraps. They are probably trying to avoid spoilers before their MWC moment – the moment of excitement and anticipation of being able to properly unveil a product at the said event.
