Another device is joining the already big and ever growing tablet and computer industry. This time, it is coming from tech manufacturer, Asus. The new device, which could make MacBook nervous, is the ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360CA.


Following its predecessors, the latest addition to the ZenBook UX series has also a sleek appearance and a compact, fan less design. However, it is a bit different from the older devices in a sense that instead of the plain old analog laptop that ASUS produced before, this one is a convertible notebook, reports Digital Trends.

The latest slim, stylish and sophisticated device has a body dimension of 12.8 x 8.7 x 0.5inch and weighs 2.9 pounds. It comes with either a 13.3-inch LED backlit QHD Glare Touch screen with 72% NTSC or 13.3-inch LED backlit FHD Glare Touchscreen with 72% NTSC and a 360-degree hinge for its transformation to tablet mode. It runs either a Windows 10 Home or a Windows 10 Pro operating system on a sixth generation Intel Core M processor with options to choice from M3, M5 or M7.

But that’s not all, consumers can also select whether they would like the device to come with an onboard memory size of 4GB or 8GB LPDDR3 1866MHz SDRAM. While the options for storage size is either 128GB or 512GB M.2 SSD. There’s also a choice of display option between a 1920 x 1080 or 3200 x 1800 pixel IPS, reports Liliputing.

ZenBook Flip UX360CA comes with one headphone-out jack, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C gen 1 port up to 5 Gbps, one micro HDMI port, one SD card slot, one AC adapter plug and a pair of 1.6-watt speakers. It will be powered by a 54 Whrs Polymer battery that ASUS claims to offer up to 12 hours of battery life.

So far the only information regarding its cam is that it will be HD and 720p, according to the official ASUS page. It will also support WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v4.1 in terms of connectivity options. As of now there is no price posted yet, however, it is expected to be launching soon.
