“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster is getting divorced after four years of marriage and nine years of living with David Foster. The news came as a shocker as they looked happy during the show.
The announcement of Yolanda and David Foster’s divorce came before the season 6 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” They announced their separation in a joint statement on December 1. The statement mentions, “We’ve shared 9 beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”
So what caused the divorce of the couple? According to an insider, the Lyme disease of Yolanda has to be blamed. When she was diagnosed with the condition, she felt David was not there to support her. Yolanda is battling Lyme disease for three years now. It is the toughest time of her life, and she could not feel his presence. The same was felt by David.
Yolanda previously explained her condition to fans. She mentioned, “I look quite normal, but yet I’m so sick. I have weakness in my legs, no brain function — I mean, I haven’t driven a car in three years.” Yolanda, 51, and David, 66, have been together for nine years. They were married on November 11, 2011. Yolanda was previously married to Mohamed Hadid.
David, the Grammy-winning music producer, got married several times. He has five kids from Linda Thompson, Rebecca Dyer, and B.J. Cook.
Yolanda and David Foster’s divorce will mean you will not be able to see the happy couple on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” anymore. The dinners they hosted were some of the best, though.
