“X-Men: Apocalypse” has released a new video in its London red carpet event. A scene from the 15-minute clip showed how his mutant powers awakened for the first time and in the worst way possible.

The new “X-Men: Apocalypse” video shows a different Cyclops from the previous trailers where his incredible powers are always unleashed in spectacular fashion. This time, he is shown as nothing more than a normal teen and seems to be a pushover seeing that his classmate had no qualms about confronting him.

Cinema Blend reveals that this is the first time we see Cyclops before his powers are awakened. Although we already saw a teen Scott Summers his powers are already kept under control by his trademark red sunglasses.

It has been a long time since we saw Cyclops in action in any of the X-Men films. The question now is will Tye Sheridan’s portrayal in the film be enough to sate the fan’s hunger to see the iconic mutant in all his glory. By the looks of the latest ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ trailers, the answer is probably yes.
