‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Update: Taylor Swift And Trailer Release Date
It was rumored for quite some time now that Taylor Swift will be seen in the 80’s-themed movie “X-Men: Apocalypse.” But yes, now it is officially confirmed that Swift has nothing to do with the anticipated film.
Simon Kinberg, the producer of “X-Men: Apocalypse,” tweeted a picture of him with X-Men’s James McAvoy, Sophie Turner and Swift a couple of months ago. The photo made us think and feel excited that the pop star is playing an important role in the movie, which was more like an icing on the cake.
But Kinberg cleared the air in a recent interview with MTV that Swift will not be seen in his movie as rumored widely, according to Movie Pilot.
Kinberg noted in the interview that “No, there’s nothing to it. I know where [the rumor] came from, because it’s my fault. [We] went to the show, me and those people, and then she invited us to come back and meet her afterwards. It was just a photo backstage at the concert, and that was the only time we ever saw her. That’s where that particular rumor came from.”
With the teaser of the movie “X-Men: Apocalypse” leaking online couple of weeks ago, the official trailer is said to be out the following month. The footage of the teaser leaked weeks after the film was debuted in the San Diego ComicCon Convention in July; it was reported then that the official trailer would be out this October, reported Christian Post.
