“X-Men: Apocalypse” is just three months away before its release and a recent spoiler popped up about one of the main characters. Quicksilver will get more focus as he will come face to face with his father, Magneto. Furthermore, Evan Peters, the actor who plays the character, revealed that the movie will feature another hilarious clip of Quicksilver like the one from “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

As reported by Collider, “X-Men: Apocalypse” will delve more into the character of Quicksilver. In fact, the “Time in a Bottle” sequence featured in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will also be featured in the film. Peters revealed that it took a whole month to film that particular scene.

During an interview, Peters revealed a spoiler about his character. “He’s kind of matured a little bit. He’s gotten into music a little bit. Cleaned up a little bit. He’s not quite the klepto that he was when you first saw him. He’s kind of chilled out a little bit with that.”

Peters also revealed that Quicksilver’s journey to finding Magneto will land some answers in the film. He stated, “He knows who he is now so he is trying to find him [Magneto]. He’s been searching for him. It’s been 10 years and he hasn’t found him and then something happens.”

He added, “I still think he’s good. He’s not really … He hasn’t gone to the dark side. I think he understands why Eric is the way that he is and does these things. I think he has a lot of sympathy for him and empathy and knows what he’s going through and is trying to help him really. There’s a way to go about doing this that’s not destroying people. You can do this the good way. Eric has so much anger and stuff built up inside him. I think he understands him. He’s not on the dark side. Not yet anyway, until something horrible happens, screw it all. We’ll see.”

With respect to Quicksilver’s connections with the other X-Men characters, Peters revealed he will bond with them more in “X-Men: Apocalypse,” especially when the mutants would need to be united quickly to save planet Earth from destruction.

In other news, Den of Geek reports that “X-Men: Apocalypse” is set ten years after “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” In the film, the altering of time that occurred paved way to the powerful Apocalypse, a challenging force that will lead all mutants to unite in order to save the planet.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” will release in theaters this May 27, 2016.
