“X-Files” star Gillian Anderson gave a high rating for on-screen partner David Duchovny for his kissing skills as she appeared in Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen.
The 47-year-old actress gave “X-Files” co-star David Duchovny a grade of 8 on a scale of 1-10, after she was asked by Cohen if the actor is a good kisser in their game “Plead The Fifth.” Host Cohen also asked the actress of her rating for Jon Stewart, whom she worked with at the 1998 movie, “Playing By Heart.”
“Oh, this is terrible!” Gillian Anderson said after hysterically laughing. “I can’t actually remember kissing Jon Stewart, so I would give David an eight.”
It has been rumored that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have been dating for quite some time now, after their role in “X-Files” in 1993 as an investigating duo. They also appeared together for the show’s reboot recently, Gossip Cop said in a recent report.
Also, Gillian Anderson was said to be the reason behind David Duchovny and his wife Tea Leoni’s divorce.
In an interview with Vulture, as reported by CDL, David Duchovny hinted that their friendship is on a next level.
“We’re probably closer today than we’ve ever been,” he said.
Gillian Anderson’s statements also draw speculations that they are indeed dating.
“People know we are good friends now and that we’ve found our way into an adult friendship,” Gillian Anderson tells The Edit, as reported by Celebrity Dirty Laundry. “But there is something that will always remain between us, a kinetic energy that is tangible when you see us in a room together.”
