What's This?

It seems WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio is getting more than his share of fights. While doing a match in Puerto Rico, Del Rio discovered that a WWE fan may also want to wrestle with him.

According to a story from the Bleacher Report, Del Rio was in the middle of a match against Ray Gonzalez when the incident happened. The WWE superstar decided to step out of the ring for a short break when a fan suddenly started striking him multiple times. A professional wrestler, Del Rio was able to stop the aggressive fan and even keep hold of him until security arrived. Afterwards, he continued his match with Gonzalez like nothing happened.

Del Rio had returned recently to WWE Hell in a Cell in response to a U.S. Open Challenge by John Cena after being introduced by former competitor Zeb Colter. The WWE superstar won the United States Championship and headed to the WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Del Rio fought his way to semifinals. Eventually, he lost the Survivor Series during a match against Roman Reigns.

Del Rio made his debut at the WWE during the summer of 2010. Weighing 239 lbs. and standing 6’5” tall, he hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico where he was raised as Mexican nobility. Del Rio has been a WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, United States Champion, 2011 Royal Rumble Match winner and 2011 Raw Money in the Bank winner.
