WWE SummerSlam 2016 gets heat up as fighter AJ Styles defeated John Cena. Will this mean a retirement for the 15-time champion?

The WWE superstar, who fought against John Cena at the SummerSlam 2016 held in Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York, finished off the bout with a phenomenal forearm and defeated John Cena.

The bout started with AJ Styles being floored by the champion as fans were singing their way for John Cena.

As the end of the match nears, John Cena had scooped AJ Styles for an AA (Attitude Adjustment) but the newbie counters and hit him with a Clash. AJ Styles then rolled to the apron and nailed his Phenomenal Forearm for his final take against John Cena, Wrestlezone said.

  • AJ Styles, not AJ Style. Good article, though. Doubt Cena will outright retire any time soon. He can work part time and still do movies and award shows.

AJ did not defeat John, John did not really cover AJ after AA’s. John Cena is keeping off for others, he has a lot to do other than WWE. If Cena takes another WWE HW championship, he equal’s Ric Flair’s no and Ric is HHH’s mentor. The story is so obvious.
John-AJ story had been drafted earlier so Cena gave a nice beating to AJ in Smackdown before their planned match. Even after a fight with Delerio.
