Seth Rollins lost to Kevin Owens at WWE Clash of Champions, though the results were not the concern of many. It was the possible interference of Triple H which many had counted on, something that technically happened through Stephanie McMahon.
To recall, the timing of the insertion of a new referee during the WWE Clash of Champions main event was suspect. It took Stephanie some time before a new referee could come in, perfect when Owens got a break and land a big move to seal the victory.
The face of Stephanie after the result tells it all. It was something that would send mixed signals though expect her to defend herself and take credit for taking action. Or was it Triple H?
The Seth Rollins Drama Continues
A lot is expected to go down on WWE Raw even if Rollins is reportedly suffering some issues with his ribs. X-Rays were taken according to PW Insider though it may likely nothing be serious. An official announcement was expected to be made this Monday.
The Owens vs. Rollins drama is expected to continue moving forward until the time is ripe for Rollins and Triple H to start their storyline. The belief is that both will figure in a card at Wrestlemania 33 though some feel that it may take as early as WWE Survivor Series.
There is a chance that it could happen at Survivor Series, assuming that this is a card that will not be a one-night stand. Triple H did it with Roman Reigns so why not with Rollins?
If so, the two could go at it as early as November with WWE Survivor Series set on the 20th at Toronto. Nothing has been set for now but anything can happen between now and October.
Looking at the time element, it may be too early to hold the much-awaited mentor vs. student clash. Wrestlemania 33 is far off so another PPV could be better. Something like the WWE Royal Rumble sounds better, an event where most cards for Wrestlemania 33 is set.
