What's This?

Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly the big name in the WWE these days and he isn’t even holding a major title. Instead, it is all about seeing the wrestler who can truly defeat him in the ring, something that no one has come close to achieving.

Everyone knows how the “Beast Incarnate” was able to shut down the Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania 30, something that he allegedly did not want to do. In fact he was ready to lose that one per a previous report from Wrestlinginc.com.

A New Streak

With the end of one streak, Lesnar is having one of his own. So the question now is who can beat the “Beast?”

Orton tried at SummerSlam 2016 but ended up a bloody mess. He had some momentum but apparently fell short. Even if a rematch happened, it isn’t likely that “The Viper” will be the one to end Lesnar’s run. If not Orton, how about other rising stars like maybe Braun Strowman or even Shinsuke Nakamura?

Strowman has the size

Everyone knows about the hulking presence of Strowman, a big adversary that may be hard to take down. Against him, Lesnar has the agility and strength to match up.

Strowman is someone who seems to be easily affected by big hits. But if he is the one to end Brock’s streak, it will be his ticket to new heights. Right now, his string of appearances have been nothing more than sideshows.

Shinsuke Nakamura has the agility

Nakamura could have some luck against Brock. But compared to other wrestlers, his only advantage right now is the agility and offensive prowess. Once Lesnar hits those suplexes, there is no telling how he can hold up.

The Undertaker and Roman Reigns have so far been the closest to deal Lesnar a loss. Both fell. Could someone younger achieve the trick?

I don’t see Strowman ever being believable enough in the ring to beat Lesnar. Nakamura I could see doing it, but only with a choke out like with Batley and Nia Jax. Samoa Joe would be credible, maybe even Baron Corbin, but with Corbin it would be much further down the road. Maybe Big Cass even, but again not anytime soon.
