What's This?

With WWE Raw falling on Independence Day, the creative team needs to come up with something special. Major WWE title holders like Dean Ambrose, The Miz and Rusev will headline those plans along with John Cena.

Planned Fourth of July 4 WWE Raw Cards

According to Wrestlezone, WWE Raw will see WWE heavyweight champion Dean Ambrose locking up with Intercontinental champion Miz once again in another non-title match.

John Cena will likely be back and try to get back at “The Club,” meaning there could be another chaotic scene involving AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

The ongoing feud between US title-holder Rusev and Titus O’Neil continues with “Super Daddy” getting yet another chance to snag the title from the “Bulgarian Brute”. Unless something diabolical happens, no title change is clear for the 4th of July.

Who Will Comprise Team USA, Team World?

What should be the most interesting match of the evening is the planned 16-man melee pitting Team USA against Team World. No names have been mentioned for now though one can simply look at the respective personas of the WWE stars to figure out who goes where.

Team USA is likely to be headlined by the likes of Jack Swagger, Zach Ryder or even Dolph Ziggler. Team World, on the other hand, could see Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio and Kalisto. The composition of the teams will likely depend on which stars are not booked for separate matches for the evening.

Kevin Owens could take part in that big match unless the WWE plans to have a special match between him and Sami Zayn or someone else.

So far, those are three speculated matches for the July 4 edition. Other matches will likely see a women’s championship match. Kane could be wrestling as well.

Former WWE SmackDown Manager Wants Job Back?

Aside from the ring action, reports hint that a former WWE SmackDown general manager will be around to lobby for the job before the WWE holds its Brand Split on July 19, Cageside Seats revealed.
