WWE Battleground 2015: Champion Seth Rollins Vs. Challenger Brock Lesnar
The match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at the WWE Battleground slated to take place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on July 19 will be fought between the current title holder Seth Rollins and challenger Brock Lesnar.
Rollins’ association with the Authority could tilt the scales either way. According to Christian Today, Rollins can escape the match against Lesnar with a disqualification. The championship can only go to Lesnar if he wins through pinfall or submission. Another possible scenario where Lesnar will have to give up the title is if he bludgeons Rollins with a foreign object; or if a member from the Authority intervenes and hits Rollins.
Meanwhile, WhatCulture reports that the wrestling event will also see Randy Orton facing off against Sheamus in a one on one battle. The two wrestlers have been part of a rivalry since long.
The fight between Orton and Sheamus, who currently holds the Money in the Bank, at Raw on June 8 finished as a no contest.
Some of the other matches to take place at the WWE Battleground include:
United States Championship – John Cena vs. Kevin Owens
Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt
Intercontinental Championship – Ryback vs. Big Show vs. The Miz
Tag Team Championships – The Prime Time Players vs. The New Day
The contests between Dolph Ziggler and Rusev, and Nikki Bella and Paige are also expected to take place at the event.
