WW3 Scenario: Russia Attacks Ukraine, NATO To Counter With Incredible Force
The annexation of Crimea started the decline of Russia and NATO’s relationship, but the former does not seem to be done yet. Russia is reportedly continuously intervening in Ukraine, and NATO is doing its best to counter the “aggression” by bolstering its defenses.Advertisement
Russia Attacks Ukraine
NATO’s Warsaw summit continues to make headlines as the alliance plans to deploy more troops to counter the supposed “Russian aggression.” The decision to step up defense comes at a time when Russia is increasingly involved in the conflict with Ukraine, and its expansion efforts become a matter of global concern. While some analysts beg to disagree, saying that NATO is using such narrative to justify increased military efforts, Russia will not stand by idly and let its guard down.
According to a report from Newsweek, Vladimir Putin is attacking Ukraine. The Kiev even noted that three Ukrainian soldiers died and 16 were wounded so far during the fighting last July 10.
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence,” said Stephen Blank, senior fellow for Russia at the American Foreign Policy Council.
“It makes sense that it would be related to the Warsaw summit.”
The fighting reportedly spiked when Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with NATO leaders in Warsaw.
“It is our common responsibility to change Russia’s aggressive behavior,” Poroshenko said. “We are grateful that NATO stands by Ukraine.”
“We condemn Russia’s deliberate destabilization of eastern Ukraine where cease-fire violations occur on a daily basis—often with equipment banned under the Minsk agreements and with casualties every day,” added NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Russia Violates Ukraine
As if to make matters worse, a recent report from Ukraine Today claims that Russia has been illegally exploring Ukraine’s natural resources in its marine economic zone. Ukraine’s State Border Service reported that Russia has been violating international maritime laws and sovereign rights of Ukraine as the country explores opportunities in its territorial sea and continental shelf. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry is reportedly preparing a official note for Moscow on the matter.
