Russia waging war on Europe and Britain may not be the best scenario for the latter as it will be a sure defeat, according to an expert. If Vladimir Putin wants to wipe out Europe and NATO, he can do so given the current situation, according to reports. Will Putin really destroy the European region?

Dangerous Vladimir Putin Could Wipe Out Europe and Britain Easily

A top military mind claimed that the West is not prepared for any Russian attack. If the Russians decide they would pursue an invasion, they would likely succeed in doing so.

Recently retired military chief General Sir Richard Barrons told The Times via Ukraine Today that Britain and NATO do not have effective plans to defend Europe, as compared to how Russia is able to deploy thousands of troops into NATO territory within 48 hours complete with warplanes and ships. NATO, however, will take months to do the same, according to the general.

As a result, NATO could already lose territories before the 28 member states agree to do something about any attack. It is likely to lose some land and control of airspace and territorial waters.

NATO No Match?

“If you list all the military capability that Nato has, it has a lot more than Russia, but because most of it exists in this semi-dormant state there is a window of opportunity where…Russia could use its smaller forces to tweak Nato in a way to which Nato would be very pressed to respond because it doesn’t have any plans to do that,” the Daily Star quoted the official.

“In the absence of consensus, largely between the north, the centre and the south, it drops down to the lowest common denominator and not much will happen.”
