Israeli actress Gal Gadot finished the taping of her “Wonder Woman” movie just in time for the start of “Justice League’s” production.
“Today was my last day shooting the solo @wonderwomanfilm!” she opened her post on Monday. “It’s been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever.”
She ended her message by saying, “Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director.”
Amid this announcement, the news outlet pointed out that it could be impossible for Gal Gadot to really take a break since she is set to start filming several scenes for “Justice League.”
In the upcoming superhero film featuring the well-loved DC characters, the “The Fast and the Furious” star would be acting side-by-side with Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ezra Miller’s The Flash, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
In the meantime, the actress shared during an interview with Daily Mail UK how she felt about being a star of her own film.
“I’m so excited about this role, I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women,” Gal Gadot dished. “There’s a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It’s going to be an amazing ride, knock on wood.”
However, some fans of Princess Diana of Themyscira, originally played by Lynda Carter, seemed unhappy about the portrayal of the face of Gucci’s bamboo perfume.
“Her look doesn’t fit the part,” A808 wrote while commenting on the article of Daily Mail UK.
Meanwhile, for another reader (aussiegirl), “I found Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman pretty underwhelming in ‘Batman V Superman.’”
