The DCEU’s upcoming “Wonder Woman” movie has unfortunately already been tainted with negative opinions. DC fans have also been divided on their support for Patty Jenkin’s movie due to the misinformed open letter alleged to be from a Warner Bros. ex-employee.


While Patty Jenkins, Geoff Johns and other personalities from DCEU supported Wonder Woman movie, Gal Gadot’s stand alone title is currently presumed to be “another mess”. Fortunately, a recent new scoop might restore some faith in DC fans.

During Umberto Gonzalez’s periscope live stream earlier from The Wrap HQ, the journalist updated his fans with scoops on DC and Marvel movie news. While some fans continued their query on “Wonder Woman” movie, the journalist reconfirmed an early rumor.

At 25: 53, Umberto Gonzalez confirmed that supervillian Ares will appear in Wonder Woman movie. Furthermore, he also said that the Greek God antagonist “will be looking for a sword” in the film. check it out in the recorded video  below.

While Ares appearance has been confirmed, it looks like he won’t be the main highlight of the plot in Wonder Woman movie. Furthermore, Umberto Gonzalez also shattered the open letter, suggesting that it was not from an ex-employee rather from a person that could have been in contact with the insider.

In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne and Princess Diana discuss about a sword during their confrontation in the museum. In the scene, it was revealed that the sword was a fake. Fans believe that it is the weapon Ares is in search of in Wonder woman movie or would already be under his possession.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, “Wonder Woman” movie will be released on June 2nd, 2017 in USA. Fans will also get to see the Amazon princess in action again in Justice League movie.
