Woman Killed In Walmart Accident In Ashland City
A 60-year-old woman named Kathy Pool was killed in an unlikely Walmart accident on Thursday as she was trying to enter the establishment in Ashland City.
An elderly woman, Jennie Bledsoe, was reversing her GMC Envoy when she hit Pool. According to Bledsoe, the accelerator got stuck, which resulted in the accident, hitting two other vehicles, according to The Tennessean.
Bledsoe said she never noticed that the she had hit and dragged Pool for 25 feet. Pool died on the spot.
The incident took place at 10.30 a.m. on Highway 12 south. Pool was accompanied by her daughter at the time of accident.
Jennie Bledsoe was there in the scene for a long time and cooperated with police officers. No charges were filed against her.
