The Witcher Patch Released With New Features & Improvements
While fans are eagerly awaiting the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood and Wine expansion, a recent announcement on the game’s official Twitter account gave us something to anticipate till its release.Advertisement
Witcher 3 PS4 expansion pack to offer 30 hours of gameplay
Developers at CD Projekt Red unveiled the release of Patch 1.20, according to the tweet. The official changelog shows improvements, new features, and tweaks on collecting Gwent cards.
Minor issues that stopped players from starting the game from the beginning, after full completion of campaigns, were not possible due to crappy bugs. The changelog in the end suggests it will be fixed. However, it’s still unconfirmed.
According to Gamespot, the update has rectified the issue that stopped Geralt from covering his body with his clothes after sex scenes. Other glitches and performance issues pertaining to visuals, gameplay and the Hearts of Stone expansion have also been reportedly fixed in the new patch.
The Witcher’s new expansion pack is said to be the last add-on by developers, providing us 90 new quests and 30 hours of gameplay for players to experience. The patch rolled out earlier for Xbox One, taking up 2.9GB of space. Sources have confirmed the update to be 2.7GB in size for the PS4. We are yet to know for the PC.

“Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf’s final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style,” Kevin VanOrd said, reviewing the game for Gamespot.
