Windows 10 Mobile 10586.164 Might Release Next Week; Not Everyone is Eligible
A recent post on a social networking site confirmed that Microsoft will soon release a cumulative update, 10586.164 build, for Windows phones. However, the company confirmed that only those who have enrolled for the company’s Insider program will be eligible to receive the update.Advertisement
Twitter user @fwboredom wrote about the new Windows 10 Mobile update on the social networking site. He further added that the update is expected next week. Windows10Update reports that the new 10586.164 build is not part of the Redstone branch, which signifies that only the fast ring insiders can receive the update. As for the slow ring insiders, they will have to wait for sometime before the fast ring insiders give their feedback and a go signal for it.
The new Window 10 Mobile build in question is creating waves in the market, but consumers are wondering when the final version of the Windows 10 Mobile OS will roll out in the market. Before we start experiencing the brilliance of the new OS version, let’s have a look at the latest build and its new features:

While there are lots of new features to look forward to in the Microsoft’s latest update, it is still not clear if the update will start rolling out this month. Observing previous trends, the date of the update release has been postponed several times. It was first rumored that the update will official release on February 29, but eventually nothing happened. Fresh reports suggest that the update will roll out this month.
There are rumors that all Lumia smartphones running on Windows 8.1 will receive the new update. The list of devices include Lumia 930, Lumia 540, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 430, Lumia 640 and 640XL, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830, notes MobiPicker.
