What's This?

Music fan and Windows 10 user at the same time? You’re up for a surprise. Microsoft is giving away the top 10 albums of 2015 free to Windows 10 users. Why? It’s a holiday gift from the company to the ones who have supported their latest operating system.

Please note that there is no separate offer running on the Windows Store from where you can download all albums at once. You will have to look for the albums one by one, then download them. Here is the list of the free albums:

  1. Selena Gomez, Revival
  2. James Bay, Chaos and The Calm
  3. Breaking Benjamin, Dark Before Dawn
  4. Alabama Shakes, Sound & Color
  5. Jeezy, Church In These Streets
  6. Logic, The Incredible True Story
  7. Ellie Goulding, Delirium
  8. Tame Impala, Currents
  9. Alessia Cara, Know It All
  10. Big Sean, Dark Sky Paradise

Christina Calio from the Groove Team made an announcement about this holiday Windows 10 giveaway on the Windows Blog, in which she wrote,

“Today I’m happy to let you know that we’re making 10 of the top albums from 2015 available in the Windows Store, for free for our Windows 10 fans as a gift from us for the holidays, and to say thank you for the support! The eclectic group of albums we’re presenting includes the newest albums from Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and Breaking Benjamin. We’ve included artists and albums nominated for multiple Grammys at the upcoming 58th annual Grammy Awards, which will take place this February in Los Angeles.”
