Richard E. Grant has been announced to play the villainous scientist for the upcoming movie “Wolverine 3.”
The 53-year-old actor will join the cast as one of Logan’s villain, following the announcement of “Narcos” star Boyd Holbrook as Wolverine’s leading enemy.
Though there are still no detailed information about Richard E. Grant’s character, Screen Rant reported that the actor will play the “villainous mad-scientist type.”

Prior to landing a role in “Wolverine 3,” Richard E. Grant previously appeared in British television shows “Doctor Who,” “Downtown Abbey,” and “Jekyll & Hyde.” Reports also said that he will appear in the season 6 of Game of Thrones.
Deadline said that “The Office” co-creator Stephen Merchant has also clinched on a role in the coming movie
“Wolverine 3” will be released next year March 3.
While the cast of “Wolverine 3” is slowly being revealed, 20th Century Fox is gearing towards the theatrical release of “X-Men: Apocalypse” on May 27.
Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was also confirmed to appear in the movie. The movie’s recently released trailer showed the familiar iconic fist with metal claws as he geared towards a number of men. He also tweeted a photo of the scene, suggesting that Wolverine will have a cameo in “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
